- Plan with a calm, normal and strong month instead of one best-case sale.
- Separate platform values from material, packaging, shipping, tax questions and your time.
- Compare seller packages only after you know how many listings and orders you can actually handle.

Which numbers belong in the calculation
Start with the product price without pass-through shipping amounts. Then add the package or platform values currently shown in your SecretUndies account. Finally, note the direct costs you carry yourself.
The payout shown by a calculator is not the same as profit. Your own list should include replacement items, packaging, shipping shares, photo time, messages and possible tax obligations.
| Input | Why it matters | Where to check |
|---|---|---|
| Product price | Base for the payout scenario | Listing draft |
| Package/platform value | Changes what remains after marketplace share | Seller account |
| Material and packaging | Direct cost outside the platform percentage | Own cost list |
| Shipping share | Can distort revenue if mixed with product price | Order and carrier |
| Message and preparation time | Decides whether the price still feels fair | Your routine |
Compare packages by your real shop
A smaller package can be the right choice while you test demand. A larger package only becomes useful when your real volume, active listings and workflow justify it.
Do not choose a package only because a table looks better. More product slots create value only when you can maintain descriptions, respond reliably and ship on time.
Calculate backwards from the amount you need
Decide which minimum amount should remain after platform share and direct costs. Then work back to the required selling price before publishing the listing.
After that, compare similar offers as a market check. Your price does not need to be the lowest when your description, communication and shipping routine are clear.
- Define a minimum amount per sale.
- Add costs that happen outside the platform calculation.
- Check whether the resulting price still fits your offer.
Do not give away special requests or time
Custom options can require additional preparation, coordination or material. Decide which services are included in the base price and which need a separate surcharge.
A request can look attractive on paper and still be wrong for your boundaries. Profitability does not replace a safe, self-determined decision.
Compare the result with real orders
After a few completed orders, compare planned sales, actual sales, package costs and payout status. Change prices or packages only when a pattern is visible.
If a payout surprises you, check the related order, package, status and current account values first. A support question with a concrete order reference is easier to review than an old example number.
- Scenario uses realistic orders.
- Current account values were checked.
- Material, packaging, shipping and time are separate.
- Special options have a clear price rule.
Common payout calculator questions
Is the calculated payout guaranteed?
No. It is a planning scenario. The current values and order status in your account remain decisive.
Should shipping count as revenue?
Keep shipping separate where possible so you do not overestimate the product amount.
When does a larger package make sense?
When realistic order volume and actually used features justify the higher package cost.
How often should I recalculate?
After price changes, package changes or enough real orders to test your assumptions.
