What factors determine the price of worn underwear?
Worn underwear does not have a fixed price like a retail product. Pricing follows its own logic, in which several factors play together. Anyone who understands these connections makes better decisions – when buying as well as when selling.
Material and processing
Cotton articles form the basis and are priced in the lower to middle segment. Lace, silk or high-quality mixed fabrics with high elasthane content cost more because they are more expensive to buy and are considered more sought-after. A handmade lace tanga has a different market value than a simple cotton slip – this is directly reflected in the prices.
Wearing time and intensity
The longer an article was worn, the higher the price. There is a noticeable difference between an article that has been on the body for a few hours and a copy after 48 hours of wear. The activity while wearing also counts: sports activity, yoga or a long working day positively influence the price calculation.
Special requests and individual adjustments
Individual requests drive the price up. If buyers want certain wearing scenarios, a handwritten log, or additional evidence photos, a markup is common and justified. Such extras mean more effort for the seller – and this effort has its price.
Experience, assessments and verification
Sellers with an established profile, numerous positive reviews and a verified account regularly achieve higher prices. This is comparable to any other market: trust and proven reliability have a measurable value. New sellers often start with cheaper offers to build initial reviews.
Pricing as a saleswoman: calculate correctly instead of guessing
For sellers, pricing is one of the biggest challenges. Too low prices devalue your own work, too high deter potential buyers. A thoughtful calculation helps to find the right middle ground.
Basic calculation: Know your costs
First, calculate your actual costs. These include the purchase price of the underwear, packaging material, postage and the time invested. A simple calculation example: Slip shopping (8 euros) plus packaging (2 euros) plus shipping (4 euros) gives basic costs of 14 euros. Your selling price must be above that to make the effort worthwhile.
Positioning in the market
Look at comparable offers and position yourself consciously. Do you want lots of sales at moderate prices or fewer transactions at premium terms? Both can work – consistency is crucial. Anyone who constantly changes their own prices seems uncertain and loses regular customers.
Sensitive seasoning
Create a clear price list with traceable mark-ups. Example: basic panties from 20 euros, each additional day of wear +5 euros, special requests by arrangement. Transparency creates trust and facilitates communication with buyers because expectations are clear from the beginning.
Price overview: The most important figures in the quick check
- Entry price:Simple cotton articles from 10–15 euros (short wear period)
- Medium segment:20–45 euros for standard items with a duration of 24 hours
- Premium area:50–100+ Euro for special materials, long wearing times or individual wishes
- Sets and bundles:40–120 euros depending on the volume and article combination
- Discount for regular customers:10-20 % discount is industry standard and strengthens customer loyalty
What justifies higher prices – and how do you recognize fair offers?
Not every high price is justified, but not every cheap offer is a bargain. The price differences for worn underwear have concrete reasons that you should know as a buyer and as a seller.
Premium indicators from the buyer’s point of view
A higher price is understandable if the seller uses high-quality materials, provides detailed descriptions and documents her articles with real photos. Carriage protocols with specific information on duration and activity show professionalism. Packaging also plays a role: Vacuum-sealed articles in neutral shipping packaging signal that quality and discretion are taken seriously.
Warning signs of overpriced offers
You should become skeptical at extremely high prices without any visible added value. Missing product photos, vague descriptions or an empty evaluation profile with simultaneously high demands are warning signals. Serious sellers can justify why their articles have a certain price – and are happy to do so.
Perspective for sellers: added value instead of discount battle
Instead of pushing prices, you should increase the perceived value of your offers. Professional photos, quick responses to requests andAn optimized sales strategyMake the difference. Buyers are willing to pay more for quality and reliability – provided both are recognizable.

Fair price negotiations: Tips for buyers and sellers
Negotiations are part of the market for worn textiles. With the right approach, both sides benefit – without frustration or misunderstandings.
For buyers: Respectfully request
If you ask for a lower price, justify your offer objectively. Instead of "This is too expensive" works "I would like to order several items - is there a quantity discount?" significantly better. sellers respond positively to polite, concrete inquiries. Remember: Behind every offer there is time and effort that you acknowledge.
For sellers: setting limits and communicating
Set a minimum price for yourself that you will not go below. Discounts are fine if they are used strategically – for example, for regular customers or multiple orders. But don’t give away your work. A friendly "My regular price is X Euro, for regular customers I offer Y Euro" is professional and clear.
Common ground rules for fair deals
Transparency is the most important element. Buyers know in advance what they receive and at what price. Sellers clearly communicate what is included in the price and what extras cost. The escrow system at SecretUndies secures the entire process: money is only released when the buyer confirms receipt. In this way, the process remains fair and protected for both sides.
Frequent questions about prices of worn underwear
What do worn briefs and tangs cost?
Worn cotton panties start at about 12 euros for short wearing times. In the middle segment, they are between 20 and 35 euros. Tangas and strings cost a little more, as they are often made of higher-quality materials such as lace or silk – 25 to 80 euros are common here. Decisive for the price are wearing time, material and possible special requests.
How do I find the right selling price as a seller?
First, calculate your basic costs: purchase price of the item, packaging and postage. Add a markup for your invested time. Then orient yourself to comparable offers and position yourself consciously – either moderately for more sales or in the premium segment with a correspondingly higher service level. Consistent prices create trust.
Why do the prices of worn underwear vary so much?
The price differences reflect real quality characteristics. Material quality, wearing time, experience of the seller, individual wishes and the type of documentation all play a role. A vacuum-sealed lace tanga with wearing log and evidence photos has a different value than a simple cotton panty with no details.
Are individual special requests always associated with extra charge?
In most cases, yes, because special requests mean additional effort. Longer wear times, certain activities while wearing or handwritten notes require extra time and planning. The surcharge varies depending on the type and scope of the request – typically between 5 and 30 euros per special request. Discuss this in advance transparently with the seller.
Can I still get good prices as a new saleswoman?
Yes, with the right strategy. Start with prices slightly below average to collect initial reviews. Invest in good product photos and detailed descriptions. Once positive reviews are available, you can gradually increase your prices. Many successful sellers have taken exactly this path –the entryIt is easier than I thought.
Are there seasonal price fluctuations in worn textiles?
Moderate fluctuations occur. During the winter months, the demand for socks and stockings increases, while summer months for sports underwear and lightweight textiles are stronger. This seasonality is not dramatic, but sellers can tailor their range to it and buyers occasionally find better conditions outside of the high season.
