What you should know first

- Start-up costs: Underwear, packaging and shipping materials are enough for the beginning.
- Pricing: Include purchase cost, wear time, packaging, shipping and fees.
- Realistic expectations: Selling can create extra income, but it is not instant wealth.
- Time management: Fixed shipping days help the work fit into your routine.
How income on SecretUndies works
On SecretUndies you set the prices for your own offers. You sell directly to buyers through the marketplace and receive payment through the platform. There are no fixed prices; you orient yourself by the market, the item and your effort.
Your income depends on how often you sell, which prices you set, how active you are and how complete your profile is. Some sellers use it for occasional extra income, while others build a regular side income.
Start-up investments and ongoing costs
You do not need large investments to start. You need underwear you already own or buy for sale, plus packaging materials and shipping costs. Many sellers begin with a few items to gain experience before expanding their offer.
Typical starting costs
Many sellers start with roughly 50 to 200 euros for underwear, vacuum bags, neutral mailers and initial shipping. Whether that pays back quickly depends on your prices, demand and activity.
Calculate prices and plan earnings
When setting prices, include every cost: the item, wear time, packaging, shipping and your own time. Compare similar offers so your prices are realistic, but do not start too low. Your time and effort have value.
| Cost item | What to include |
|---|---|
| Purchase | Underwear depending on material, brand and condition. |
| Wear time | Your time value, depending on duration and effort. |
| Packaging | Vacuum bag, neutral mailer and label. |
| Shipping | Standard shipping or the requested shipping method. |
| Fees | Platform share on successful sales. |
Example: 25 euros purchase cost, 30 euros wear time, 5 euros packaging, 6 euros shipping, about 10 euros platform fee and 20 euros margin can lead to a selling price of about 96 euros.

How to increase your income
You can increase earnings by offering more items, staying active, improving your profile and collecting good reviews. Sellers with complete profiles and positive reviews tend to receive more inquiries.
Over time, regular customers can make selling easier and more stable. Good communication and reliable handling are part of the income strategy.
Set realistic expectations
Selling on SecretUndies can be an additional income, but it is not a shortcut to wealth. First sales can take a few weeks. Patience, continuity and quality matter more than volume.
- First sales can take two to four weeks.
- Continuity matters more than perfection.
- Quality over quantity supports long-term success.
- Regular customers may develop over several months.
Taxes and records
If you sell regularly and earn meaningful income, taxes may become relevant. Check the rules in your country and keep a simple overview of income and expenses. If you are unsure, ask a tax adviser.
Time and work-life balance
The time required depends on how much you want to sell. Fixed shipping days and clear delivery times help buyers know what to expect and help you avoid stress.
One or two shipping days per week are often enough for a steady rhythm. Use status notes on your profile if you are less available for a short period.
