- A carrier still needs the correct delivery details for the chosen service.
- Neutral outer packaging should not advertise the product or marketplace.
- Order-related messages are easier to resolve when they remain in the platform.
Choose the reception point before ordering
Decide where the parcel can be received without creating avoidable stress. A home address, staffed collection point or carrier locker can each work, but availability and addressing rules depend on the delivery provider and destination. Check the current carrier instructions before entering the address.
Use accurate information in the fields required for delivery. A false or incomplete address can cause returns, delays or identity checks. Privacy is better served by choosing an appropriate reception option than by making the parcel undeliverable.
Ask what neutral packaging means for this order
Neutral packaging usually means a plain, secure outer envelope or box without product descriptions or conspicuous branding. It does not guarantee that every carrier label or payment record will look a particular way. Ask only for the details that matter to your decision.
The seller should use packaging that protects the item during normal handling. Discretion should not come at the cost of a weak seal, an unreadable label or a parcel that attracts attention because it is unusually wrapped.
Keep delivery communication short and useful
Before payment, clarify the delivery method, expected preparation window and any option that changes the total price. After dispatch, an order update or tracking reference is more useful than repeated private messages.
Do not move the conversation to an outside messenger merely to exchange routine delivery information. Keeping the essential agreement with the order gives both sides a clearer record if the parcel is delayed or returned.
Respond calmly when delivery changes
A late scan is not automatically proof that a parcel is lost. Check the carrier status, the stated dispatch date and the delivery address first. If something differs from the agreement, document the visible facts without posting full address or payment details.
Contact the seller or support through the intended marketplace route. A concise timeline with the order reference, last carrier update and expected resolution is more useful than several conflicting messages.

Frequently asked questions
Is delivery completely anonymous?
No. Delivery providers need enough information to route and hand over a parcel. The aim is discretion and data minimisation, not an impossible absence of records.
Can I use a parcel locker?
Use one only when the selected carrier, parcel type and destination support it. Follow the provider's current addressing instructions.
What should I do if the outside packaging is not neutral?
Photograph only what is needed, keep the order reference and report the mismatch through the platform without publishing the full label.
