Seller onboarding
Become a seller on SecretUndies
A strong seller start is built on a clear offer, firm communication boundaries and a realistic routine for listings, orders, shipping and payouts. Choose a plan only after checking what you will actually use.
Prepare the work before choosing a package
Decide which product types you want to list, how often you can update availability and how much time you can give to item-related questions. Sellers do not need to promise constant access or move conversations to private social accounts. A concise profile and complete listings can answer most routine questions in advance.
Read the current marketplace rules before photographing products or accepting requests. Define what you offer, what you do not offer and which options require extra preparation. Boundaries are part of a professional listing, not something you need to defend in every message.
Choose a plan by workload and tools
| Decision | Lower-volume start | Growing catalogue | Established routine |
|---|---|---|---|
| Listings | Test a small, well-maintained range | Need room for more active products | Manage a broader catalogue consistently |
| Visibility | Learn what complete listings attract | Use relevant visibility tools selectively | Review performance before paying for promotion |
| Insights | Manual review may be enough | Basic trends can guide improvements | Longer history may support catalogue decisions |
| Economics | Keep fixed commitments proportionate | Compare fees with realistic sales volume | Model package cost, commission and fulfilment together |
Package names, prices, limits and included features can change. Confirm them on the current subscription page before subscribing; this guide does not reproduce a price list.
Create a listing a buyer can judge
Describe the exact product type, material if known, labelled size, colour, condition, included options, price and dispatch expectations. Use photographs that match the item and inspect the background for faces, documents, reflections or location clues. Avoid claims that cannot be verified from the product or your process.
A complete listing reduces repetitive chat and prevents assumptions. If an option is not included, say so. If timing depends on a choice, explain that before purchase. Keep the final agreement attached to the platform listing and order.
Use a repeatable order routine
- Review the order: match the item, selected options, amount and dispatch information.
- Prepare only what was agreed: do not accept pressured additions through private channels.
- Pack discreetly and accurately: follow current shipping rules and use valid carrier information.
- Update the order: keep relevant dispatch evidence in the intended workflow.
- Check payout status: use the dashboard and current payout guidance rather than arrangements proposed by a buyer.
For the financial sequence, read commission and payment. Calculate earnings after plan cost, marketplace fees, packaging, shipping responsibility and your time. Do not base a plan choice on gross listing prices alone.
What buyers notice before they message
Buyers can see whether a seller has taken care with the parts they control: a coherent profile, current listings, readable photographs, specific descriptions and respectful terms. Verification may add context, but it does not compensate for unclear offers. Likewise, a new seller can still look credible by being precise and consistent.
Answer product questions without revealing private contact data. Decline requests that cross your stated limits. When a message is harassing, coercive or unrelated to a legitimate order, preserve the relevant context and use the available block or report route.
Improve visibility by improving relevance first
Use titles and categories that describe the actual item. Update sold or unavailable offers promptly. Product promotion can bring attention, but it cannot repair a vague listing or an unsuitable offer. Review the current ranking and visibility guidance before assuming how placement works.
If paid boosts are available, test them against a defined goal and current package terms. The product boost guide explains the feature. Do not treat impressions as completed sales; listing views, messages, orders and repeat buyers answer different questions.
Seller questions to resolve before launch
Which package should a new seller choose?
Choose the smallest current plan that supports your realistic catalogue and workflow, then reassess after you have evidence about listing maintenance and demand.
Do I have to share social media or a phone number?
A standard platform sale should stay in the marketplace communication and order path. Do not share private contact details simply because a buyer asks.
What does verification prove?
It is a defined platform trust signal, not a guarantee about every listing or transaction. Review the current process in verification explained.
When should I upgrade?
Upgrade when a current plan's documented tools or limits solve a real constraint at a cost your net sales can support.
