Protect account access
Use an email address you control and a unique password. Do not reuse those credentials elsewhere or send them in chat.
For an unexpected security message, open SecretUndies through your saved address and check the account directly.
Limit public profile information
A display name, profile text and images can support your marketplace presence without pointing unnecessarily to your offline life. Review backgrounds, notification previews and linked accounts.
Sellers should separate public product information from details needed only for a specific order.
Communicate in marketplace chat
Keep product questions, boundaries and order agreements in the relevant chat so they remain connected to the profile or transaction.
Do not send identity documents, passwords or full payment credentials to another user. Urgency is not a reason to leave the intended workflow.
Connect payment to the order
Review the product, options, delivery, visible fees and total in checkout. Use the platform status instead of a payment claim made in a message.
When a status is unclear, do not initiate another payment or improvise a different method.
Plan discreet and valid delivery
Neutral outer packaging reduces clues about the contents. Delivery details still need to work with the carrier, address and any collection option.
Discretion means controlled data sharing, not false or incomplete information that can disrupt delivery.
Combine several trust signals
Verification, reviews, listing detail, profile history and communication each have limits. A consistent combination is stronger than one positive sign.
Clarify a contradiction or choose another listing instead of filling the gap with an assumption.
Respond to an incident with a clear record
Preserve the order number, relevant agreement and observed status. Contact the seller or support with a short timeline and one clear question.
Share only the information needed to review the case and keep essential records until payment, delivery or refund has ended.
Security checks for each transaction
- Account credentials are unique and private.
- Profile and images reveal no unnecessary identifiers.
- Chat and payment stay in the marketplace.
- Delivery data is correct and purpose-specific.
- Decisions use several consistent signals.
Choose the next protection step
Review account access, verification, fraud signals, payment or delivery according to the active transaction.
