- Set a realistic budget and a small number of essential preferences before browsing.
- Shortlist clear listings and check the seller profile, reviews and delivery information.
- Use SecretUndies chat and checkout so your first order has one consistent record.
Prepare your account and privacy choices
Decide how you can receive a parcel before buying. The delivery choice shown at checkout must work for your location and circumstances. Discretion depends on the options actually offered and the information you provide, so read the current delivery details rather than assuming a universal method.
Choose a focused first search
Begin with one item category and two or three meaningful preferences, such as size, material and maximum price. A broad search helps you understand what is available; adding every possible filter at once can hide suitable listings before you know the marketplace.
Save your attention for listings with clear photographs, a complete description and understandable options. Your first order does not need to be unusual or highly personalised. A straightforward offer makes it easier to learn how communication, checkout and delivery fit together.
Check the listing and seller as one decision
Read the complete listing, including wear details, condition, preparation, option changes, dispatch information and delivery charge. Then open the seller profile and recent reviews. Confirm that the profile history and current description support the same expectations.
Verification details can be helpful, but no single status answers every purchase question. If the seller is new or has few reviews, focus on listing specificity and direct answers. Keep the first spend at a level you are comfortable using to gain experience.
Ask one clear message before ordering
Only ask what the listing does not already explain. A concise message might confirm availability, exact size, one wear preference and likely dispatch timing. This respects the seller's time and leaves a clear platform record of the point that matters to you.
Avoid sharing private contact details or agreeing to continue elsewhere. If an important option is discussed in chat, check that the final order reflects it before payment. Do not rely on a private promise that is disconnected from the listing or checkout.
Review the checkout rather than rushing through it
Check the selected item, options, quantity, delivery method and total price. Correct any mistake before paying. Use only the payment choices provided in SecretUndies, even if a different route is presented as faster or cheaper in a message.
After payment, keep order updates and questions in the platform. Dispatch and arrival times can vary, so use the information attached to your order and allow for the stated window. Contact support through SecretUndies if a material issue cannot be resolved with the seller.
Learn from the first delivery
When the parcel arrives, compare the received item and included choices with the listing and recorded agreement. Avoid publishing sensitive packaging or address information. If something differs, describe the exact point calmly in the order conversation and retain the platform record.
Note what worked for you: category, material, seller communication, price, delivery and the usefulness of the wear details. This turns the first order into practical experience. Leave a fair review that distinguishes a factual mismatch from a personal preference.

Common questions
Do I need to message a seller before every first order?
Only when an essential detail is missing or needs confirmation. If the listing and checkout clearly cover your requirements, an extra message may not add value.
How much should I spend on my first purchase?
Choose a total that fits your personal budget and would not pressure you into skipping checks. There is no universal first-order amount.
Is a new seller unsuitable for a beginner?
Not necessarily. A new seller has less history, so place more weight on listing detail, verification information, clear answers and a proportionate first order.
What if I make a mistake in my order?
Contact the seller promptly through the order conversation. Whether a change is possible depends on the order stage, so do not create a separate private arrangement.
